Norwegian airlines request emergency cuts of airline fare

NHO Aviation has asked Finance Minister Jan Tore Sanner (H) on behalf of the airlines to temporarily remove the air passenger fare.

The background is an aggravated aviation situation as a result of Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, E24 writes.

“When that fee came, aviation was extremely financially well and the politicians wanted to tax an industry that was in a boom. Now the situation has turned on its head. That should be taken seriously by the Minister of Finance,” says CEO Torbjørn Lothe of NHO Aviation.
