The inspections were carried out within an investigation on possible agreements and / or concerted practices for fixing the selling prices within the commercial policy implemented by Samsung Electronics Romania SRL on the electronic and IT&C products market in Romania.
Thus, the investigation concerns the relationship between Samsung Electronics Romania SRL and its partners, including Altex Romania SRL, Flanco Retail SA and Dante International SA.
The investigation was launched based on the information received on the Competition Whistleblowing Platform. Samsung Electronics Romania SRL is the local subsidiary of the Samsung Group, a global manufacturer and distributor of electronic products and IT products.
Both Altex and Flanco sell online and through national store chains a wide range of electronics and IT&C, home appliances and multimedia products.
