State border checkpoint reconstructed in seaport of Kavkaz

In the seaport of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Territory, within the territory of the universal terminal of VERP LLC, work has been completed on the reconstruction of the sea cargopassenger permanent multilateral checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation.Article continues below
The interdepartmental commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, FGKU Rosgranstroy, Border Guard Service of the FSB of Russia, FCS of Russia, Rospotrebnadzor and Rosselkhoznadzor, signed an act of compliance of the checkpoint with design documentation for reconstruction. The facility, modernized at the expense of the investor, is completely ready for operation.
Thanks to the work carried out, all conditions have been created for carrying out the necessary procedures by employees of state control bodies. The throughput of the checkpoint has been increased to 570 ships, 6,840 people and 2 million tons of cargo per year.
At present, the Ministry of Transport of Russia is preparing an order to open and establish new borders of the checkpoint after the reconstruction within the universal terminal.
The modernization of the checkpoint contributes to an increase in the throughput capacity of the seaport of the Caucasus, an increase in the volume of cargo transportation and transport services, the development of trade and economic relations with neighboring states. ■ What to read next
