Tourism industry continues to do well in Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a country that offers a variety of options for rest and recreation, said Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy Mariana Nikolova during a meeting with Marc Van Muylders, Vice President of HOTREC, the European association of hotels, restaurants and cafés.

The leadership of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association, who has been a regular HOTREC member since the beginning of the year, also participated in the conversation.

Deputy Prime Minister Nikolova noted that the tourism industry contributes about 12% to Bulgaria's GDP.

"The government is always open to dialogue with representatives of the hospitality industry.

O"ur mutual cooperation helps the development of the tourism sector in Bulgaria," Deputy Prime Minister Nikolova emphasised.
