Ukraine set plans for bridge upgrade programme

The Ukraine has set out a plan for a major bridge upgrade programme stretching across the country.

More than US$1 billion will be spent on improving important bridge links.

The work is being planned by Ukraine’s state owned road company, Ukravtodor.

The programme should take five years to carry out, with 100 key bridge connections having been identified as priority projects for improvements.
