Proper hull balance is the most critical, and the most difficult to attain, design aspect of a boat under 35 feet. It's also what sets the 32 Express apart from other boats of her class. CABO worked with Michael Peters Yacht Design to create a sport fisher that performs exceptionally well no matter is she running or drifting. Her weight is distributed as in bigger boats, carrying as much mass aft as possible, so she tracks better in following seas and rides higher in waves. The result is faster and smoother ride.
32 Express is not the biggest fisherman around but she is carefully designed for sport excitement. A bait prep centre, circulating bait tank, and large capacity fish box provide tournament-level precision and convenience in the extra wide cockpit. An outward-opening door supported by strong custom hinges has a top gate for safe use you can trust. Self-bailing scuppers along with fresh and saltwater washdowns add utility, while cockpit coaming pads and CABO's deck pattern offer stability that the working angler will appreciate in the heat of the fight.
CABO boats are well-known for their superb engineering and mechanical layout. It is intuitive, ergonomic, meticulously made, and the 32 Express is no different. Her power-actuated helm deck rises at the push of a button to reveal a gel coated maintenance space that is totally accessible, with color-coded and labelled wiring, plumbing, and other systems strategically placed around the twin turbo-charged diesel engines.
The starboard helm is mounted on a raised deck to eliminate blind spots at all running angles, and there is room for the latest large-screen electronics, and behind the helm there are a locking three-drawer tackle cabinet.
The cabin interior combines CABO's high quality with the ability for owners to personalize their living space with custom decor packages. Four people can sleep in the offset double berth and L-shaped lounge that converts to upper and lower bunks. Included as a standard is a galley with full appliances and Corian countertops, shower compartment, air conditioning, diesel generator, stainless-steel hardware, and ample rod storage.
Shortly said, 32 Express has it all. The only thing missing here are you and the biggest fish you ever caught. ■
