Wally Yachts introduced a new model in 70 WallyPower motor yacht line. She will be success, no doubt about it.

Luca Bassani Antivari is the founder of Wally Yachts, a company with headquarters in Monaco, a city that easily can be called the capital of Mediterranean. It is one of the three Italian "Yachting superstar", the other two being Paolo Vitelli of Azimut and Norberto Ferretti of Ferretti Group.
Although Mr. Bassani's company is from the past century, it is just 13 years old. He founded Wally Yachts in 1994 and it became a manufacturer of high-end yachts in no time. It shouldn't be a surprise because Mr. Bassani sails for almost all of his life. He sailed Phantom and J24s, and he adores everything that floats on the water, and he enjoy living at the sea. And that love is behind the success of Wally.
As he entered the yachting market his only goal was to create the best in class and he did it. Wally offers a range of yachts and boats that are unique and class of its own. As is the case with any other company that strives to great quality and design, Mr. Bassani is the boss who must confirm every detail on his yachts.
Guided by this sea lover, Wally Yachts introduced a new model that will be success, no doubt about is. The question is from what part of the world the buyers will come. (Currently, some 40 percent of buyers are from Germany, 30 percent from Italy, and 30 percent goes to the rest of the world).
New Wally jewel is WallyPower Lau Lau, a first motor yacht from the newly designed 70 WallyPower motor yacht line. Lau Lau (a name of Hawaiian meal, if someone's interested) is 21-meter motor yacht, with three separate areas. The first one is the magnificently designed salon under glass, very large and attractive. The other two areas are the forward cockpit and the aft cockpit. Counting all together, there is room for no less than 20 people on Lau Lau, and they will have enough space for nice supper at the sunset.
Hawaiian meal is 21,9 meters in length over all, and it comes in two versions: 3-cabin version is for six guests and two crew, while suite version is for four guests and two crew. The displacement is 40 tons, powered by two MTU diesel engines that generate 3040 Hp that in turn drive KaMeWa water-jets. That means that you can enjoy in maximum speed of 40 knots. With fuel tanks of 3,800 litters Lau Lau is able to reach a destination 300 nautical miles away. Fresh water tank can be filled with 650 litres and there is also and Idromar water maker.
The interior is result of cooperation with Gillian Brown and you'll find inside all amenities you expect, from microwave to Bang and Olufsen phone to Bose sound systems and 23-inch Sharp LCD TVs.
Honestly, I can’t tell what I like more, the exterior or the interior, but what I know for sure is that Lau Lau is made for pleasure. And she will provide pleasure to many happy owners. ■
