The MegaBronc is equipped with the nearly-indestructible 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo-Diesel that cranks out a best-in-class 475HP and a whopping 1,050LBF-FT of ground-pounding torque. The MegaBronc was handcrafted at MegaRexx headquarters in Wilmington, North Carolina. Finished in Lithium Gray with Ebony Black micro-perforated leather, it’s equipped with the TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission with Selectable Drive Modes, FX4 Off-Road Package, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), power panoramic dual moonroof, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, keyless entry with remote start, rearview camera, reverse sensors, and much, much more.
The hand-laid fiberglass hood, front fenders, and bedsides give it modern off-road looks and there will be no mistaking the MegaBronc for anything else on the road when you see the custom grille with integrated Bronco LED headlights and signal lights and custom front bumper with 20” LED light bar coming at you. The second-row MegaBronc bucket seats are exact matches for the driver and passenger seats, and the power-folding third-row seats with matching upholstery sourced from Ford’s own Expedition are nestled under a fully-removable fiberglass hardtop and steel safety cage.
The 4.5" Icon progressive front coil springs and 5" multi-leaf rear springs provide the necessary lift, and it has fully adjustable rear height with Ford's rear spring bump stops. It also features proprietary MegaRexx stronger and longer radius arms, King reservoir shocks, Icon dual steering stabilizers, and Icon adjustable track bars. The MegaBronc rides on satin black 20" x 12” MR605 Method Race Wheels wrapped with aggressive 40" x 14.5" Atturo Trail Blade M/T mud-terrain tires.
To compensate for the larger wheel and tire package, MegaRexx regeared the Dana 60 front and rear differentials on the MegaBronc to 4:56 gears and installed a Bluetooth Pedal Commander for quicker throttle response. The beefy front and rear fenders are both bolted and bonded to the body – it’s now a full 8" wider than stock. All seams were clearanced, and the body was sanded, primed, and painted to perfection. LineX coating was applied to the bed, accessories, and other surfaces before the final assembly, full alignment, and a thorough road test were completed. To maximize quality control, all of the work was done in-house. ■
A very strong low pressure system currently just offshore of San Francisco Bay will continue to bring high winds, heavy rain, and heavy mountain snow for California and adjacent areas of the Southwest through tonight and Wednesday as the latest in a series of atmospheric rivers impacts the West.
