The Turkish based shipyard Bilgin Yacht launched their latest superyacht, Noor, a stunning custom 123ft motor yacht. The slender exterior lines have been designed by the shipyard's in-house team, while the interior styling comes from the drawing board of the Italian studio Hot Lab Yacht & Design.
The interior is characterised by polished greige tinted oak veneer throughout the yacht, except for the main saloon, and thanks to the wise use of Thassos marble and precious carpets the team of Hot Lab has created a warm and elegant ambience. The main saloon, aft on the main deck, features a completely different color combination and blends all kinds of different materials; dark tinted ebony is the main veneer, accompanied by modern lacquered inserts, fabric and leather panels on walls and ceilings, and a very accurate choice of high standard loose furniture.
The plaited leather on the covering panels makes the environment very comfortable and austere at the same time. Adjoining to the main saloon is the dining area and moving forward there is a spectacular staircase connecting the lower and upper deck. To the left there is the galley and in the forward section is the full beam owner’s suite. The owner's suite featuring a seating area, a desk, two extra wide beds and an en-suite bathroom including a luxury bathtub, a wide shower area with sauna and steaming room.
On the lower deck are three guest cabins: astern there are two double guest cabins and afore one VIP cabin. Located on the bridge deck is Noor's most spectacular room, the formal dining room. The room is located half a level above the semi-open wheelhouse, and has an open and spacious feel, thanks to the huge skylight set above the table that can easily seat 8 guests. From the dining room table, guest can watch the captain at work in the wheelhouse, or have a view aft through the sliding doors of the upper aft deck.
The dining room opens up to a spacious and well laid out sundeck. Modern furniture can easily sit more than 8 people on the fly bridge and a bar facing aft; a huge sofa and sunbeds complete the sun deck. There's no doubt that the fourth generations of successful boat builder in the Bilgin family made a brilliant job with Noor and we hardly wait to see the next superyacht from their production. ■
