Enjoy a walk on the DePonte Family Wildlife Path with one of educators to meet bobcats, turtles, snakes and other native New Mexican wildlife. These family focused Animal Encounter programs are offered daily except Sunday.

Programs begin at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm Monday though Wednesday and 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm Thursday through Saturday. Your general admission fee includes Animal Encounter programs.

New Mexico Wildlife Center (NMWC) was founded in 1986 by a local veterinarian, Dr. Kathleen Ramsay. Originally formed as a rehabilitation center for injured birds, the organization evolved to treat all species of wildlife in New Mexico.
