The most expensive suite costs more than many homes — $75,000 per night.
1. Penthouse at The Mark Hotel - $75,000 per night
At 12,000 square feet, this “castle in the sky†on the Upper East Side truly has it all.
The entire suite—including the custom furniture—was designed by legendary French designer Jacques Grange, and features five bedrooms, four fireplaces, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, a grand piano, and two wet bars.
The living room, with its 26-foot ceiling, can be converted into a grand ballroom, and guests also enjoy a library, a stately dining room, private conservatory, and a stunning rooftop terrace offering views of the city, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Central Park.
2. Ty Warner Suite at Four Seasons New York - $50,000 per night
Guests staying in the Ty Warner Suite at the Four Seasons New York not only relax among one-of-a-kind furnishings and original artwork by international artists, they are taken care of by their own personal butler who’s on call 24 hours a day.
The 4,300-square-foot penthouse affords unobstructed panoramic views of Manhattan from a staggering 700 feet above the ground. Unlimited caviar, champagne, spa services, a personal trainer, and a chauffeured Rolls Royce complete the decadent experience.
3. Suite 5000 at Mandarin Oriental New York- $36,000 per night
Under-the-radar is an understatement when it comes to booking this 3,300 square-foot suite on the 50th floor of the Mandarin Oriental New York—you won’t find it listed on the hotel’s website.
Guests have access to an expansive vinyl record collection and player assembled by Academy Records, and the art collection is worthy of the most discerning collectors.
Most impressive: the hotel works with fashion house Christian Dior to fill the closet with hand-selected garments and accessories from the current collection.
4. Presidential Suite at The St. Regis New York - $35,000 per night
This luxe apartment-style suite has several bedrooms and bathrooms, a wood-paneled library, formal dining room, living room and a full kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views of Central Park and Fifth Avenue and 55th Street. A personal 24-hour butler is on hand to serve coffee and tea upon arrival and daily after your wakeup call.
5. Tata Suite at The Pierre - $30,000 per night
The Tata Suite at The Pierre oozes opulence with its rich gold, silver, and porcelain tones, hand-woven carpets, paisley wallpaper, and Murano glass chandeliers and floor lamps.
The 1,980 square foot suite offers two bedrooms—one master and one with twin beds—and both have organic mattresses fitted in luxurious linens and silk and brocade pillows.
There’s also a living room and a spacious dining room with a pantry kitchen. From its perch on the 39th floor, guests overlook Central park and have stunning views of the George Washington Bridge beyond. ■
