New Orleans is the best city to visit for fun, parties and events and each spring, the NORD hosts their annual 11-week movie series at different parks across New Orleans.
So, get the entire family and bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics at sunset, between 6:15pm and 6:45pm to the park to watch your favourite movie. If there is rain, movies will be moved indoors.
Movie screenings always include fun pre-show games and activities for all ages and moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early to participate and visit with family and friends. Pets are not allowed. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Be sure to make reservations to attend an event! Each event is limited to a capacity of 125 people (up to 6 people per group). Reservations will open seven days before each Movies in the Park event.
