Prairie Lights, four million lights in Grand Prairie

Everything is big in Texas and so are holiday lights. A twinkling drive-through wonderland in the Dallas, Tx. suburb of Grand Prairie never disappoints.

Every year, folks pile in by the carload to cruise through four million lights and hundreds of custom displays set along 2 miles of path.

Hundreds of displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads. Half way through the drive get out of your car for a stop at Holiday Village where you will find food, gifts, Santa, a brand-new indoor Holiday Show, and the Holiday Magic Lighted Walk-Through Forest.

Once back in your vehicle, the second half of the drive ends with the very animated light tunnel – the perfect finale to a night you will never forget! And as if that weren't enough, the place boasts the world's largest animated light tunnel at the end of the drive.

Concessions sold include hot cocoa, apple cider, coffee, and a variety of seasonal food like funnel cakes, kettle corn and more.

Holiday Dreams is a unique holiday themed show with a fresh approach. It takes the time-honored elements of the holidays such as its visuals, the music, the colors, the values, and the spirit of Christmas and mixes them with a modern up-to-date spin.

The result is a high-energy exciting show for the whole family!

Get out of your car at Holiday Village and take a stroll through the trees that will be lit up with tens of thousands of lights. With an amazing walk-through tunnel of lights and an animated Christmas tree, this attraction is sure to have everyone saying WOW!

When: The park is open nightly from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, until December 30, 2019.
Good to know: Admission is $45 per car.
