Another year is coming to its end. We brought you the atmosphere of the distant destinations to your home and now it is the time for travel professionals and World Travel Awards 2010, the Oscars of the travel industry, to give you their own judgment.

This year votes were casted by professionals from 162 countries and they had to choose the best in more than 1,000 different categories. Among 5,000 companies, World's Leading Airline award went to Etihad Airways. It was the best company to travel with this year and it got that prestigious award for the second year in a row. One of its destinations is Dubai which is the proud owner of another award: famous Burj Al Arab is this year's World's Leading Hotel.
InterContinental Almaty, the three times country's Leading Hotel, became World's Leading Luxury Business Hotel in 2010. In the category of "ordinary" hotels, this year's award World's Leading Business Hotel was granted to Pan Pacific Singapore. While we are at hotels, JW Marriott stands above the crowd as World's Leading Business Hotel Group with literally hundreds of high-end hotels and resorts around the world.
If you ask us for an opinion, we have a reason to confirm that Marriott is among rare highly-professional hotel groups. Two years ago we sent an inquiry to addresses of 150 big hotel groups as a part of an experiment. Our goal was to see how cooperative and business-related some of the biggest and well-known hotel chains are. As a result, we got about ten answers and Marriott's answer was the fastest, sent in within two days with warm greetings and the best wishes for our new project. Highly recommended.
For those of you who love outdoor activities such as golf, it's time to visit - if you already didn't - Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa in Antalya, Turkey, which proudly holds the title World's leading All Inclusive Golf Resort. You can also enjoy top-class golf in Fairplay Golf Hotel & Spa in Spain which is this year's World's Leading Boutique Golf Resort, and for the best beaches in the world your destination is Montego Bay in Jamaica - World's Leading Beach Destination.
The best spot for your family is also in Jamaica, the award World's Leading Family All-Inclusive went to Beaches Negril Resort & Spa. For cruising on blue waters this year's best choice is Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, World's Leading Cruise Brand which can take you to some of the world's best destinations such as Dubai, World's Leading Cruise Port. Not so far away from Dubai is The Royal Savoy Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, and this is the best place for lovers of the deep because it is World's Leading Dive Resort.
The list goes on but let us mention just a few more interesting places. For romantic souls it's good to know that Maldives got the title World's Most Romantic Destination and World's Most Romantic Resort is Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa. South Africa has something to offer too: World's Leading Residential Apartments, the place that treat you like you are the king, is The Regent in Johannesburg. And don't forget ExCeL, World's Leading Meetings & Conference Centre located in London, World's Leading Destination.
