Bolsonaro to sign agreements with BRICS countries

President Jair Bolsonaro on Thursday said that he is signing bilateral agreements with the BRICS partner countries, an economic group made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, during his speech at the 13th summit of this bloc.

At the summit, which is being held via video conference, the president highlighted the importance of joint actions between Brazil and India, claiming that the ties are excellent.

He further said that several agreements signed are paying off, and their cooperation has made progress, especiallly in the fields of science and technology, energy and health, particularly in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

He added that bilateral trade has grown, which is another sign of recovery of their economies and the potential of their relations.
