Canadians, Tunisians and Georgians can no longer enter Spain for non-essential purposes

Residents of Canada, Georgia and Tunisia, can no longer enter Spain, after the latter has removed the three from the list of epidemiologically safe countries.

“The last section of article 1.1 is introduced: possible denial of entry for reasons of public health even for the categories authorized to enter (after verification by the health authorities that the person does not meet the health control requirements for COVID-19 established by the Ministry of Health,” the government explains in a press release announcing the decision.

At the same time, on Council’s recommendation, Singapore has been added to the list and is now considered an epidemiologically safe country, due to low numbers of Coronavirus cases marked in the recent week.
