Egypt, Netherlands sign water MoU

Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati has signed a memorandum of understanding to better manage water resources between Egypt and the Netherlands.

Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Cora Van Nieuwehuizen had signed the MoU and sent it to Egypt through diplomatic channels for Abdel Aati to also add his signature.

The memo focuses on cooperation and exchange of expertise in the fields of water and agriculture, integrated management of coastal areas and sewage treatment.
