Iran describes U.S. as cruel collaborator of coronavirus

Iran on Monday described the United States as a cruel collaborator of coronavirus by retaining a policy of maximum pressure that hinders the purchase of supplies to fight the deadly disease.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on Twitter that it condemns the anti-Iranian U.S. position.

'Corona's proven deadly, vicious and brutal everywhere, but it is worse in Iran, as it has a cruel collaborator: US regime,' the note said.

In opinion to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United States has elevated max pressure to health terrorism and condemned Iranians to death with inhuman sanctions.

Iran has accumulated 568,896 cases and 32,616 deaths from the disease since February, the Iranian Ministry of Health informed on Monday.

Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Lari said that 6,191 infections and 286 deaths were reported in the last day.
