U.S. to offer 77.8 million acres for lease in Gulf of Mexico

U.S. Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt announced that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will offer 77.8 million acres for a region-wide lease sale scheduled for Aug. 21, 2019.Article continues below ■ What to read next
