Lava International, an Indian company with research and development at home, launched Iris Fuel 60, a device that certainly has enough power no matter what you do. It features a huge 4000 mAh battery with four times more capacity than some other well-known models. And it's only $140.

The battery is something every smartphone user will accept with a big smile. You can lose yourself into conversations up to 32 hours long on 2G or 13.5 hours on 3G with a huge Li Pol battery. The phone will be upgraded to Android L via FOTA (firmware over the air) in future. The Corning 3 Gorilla Glass offers scratch and impact resistance. The Iris Fuel 60 has primary camera of 10 megapixel with single LED flash and sports a 2 megapixel front camera. The Fuel 60 supports full HD Video recording and digital zoom with built in auto-focus, panorama, HDR mode, face detection, smile shot and voice capture. For those who need connectivity, they can use dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3. The phone is made using the solderless technology where each component is connected to PCBA via connectors, not using soldering.
This results in lesser defects and makes it easier for service engineers in case of any fault.
The Fuel 60 is equipped with a naumber of gesture driven features that makes it user friendly. In built features like Double Tap Wake up and Drawing Gesture Shortcuts function makes it more customizable and user friendly. For instance, the user may double tap the screen to wake up the device from sleep mode or draw letters on the display in sleep mode and link them with one of the tasks. The Iris Fuel 60 will be available in black and white color in retail outlets across India and e-commerce portals.
