Accovion: managing director Kurt Löffler has resigned

Eschborn, Germany - July 15, 2010, Eschborn, Germany - Accovion, a contract research company, announced that Kurt Löffler has resigned from his position as managing director.



Dr. Löffler is a co-founder of Accovion and has been one of its managing directors since 2002. His responsibilities on the board of managing directors focus on biostatistics, data management, medical informatics, and IT.

Before founding Accovion, Dr. Löffler was senior director and departmental head of biostatistics and clinical data management at Aventis (formerly Hoechst AG) in Frankfurt, Germany. Previously, he held positions as director of clinical data management at Hoechst Marion Roussel.

Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Löffler was a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich, where he was responsible for clinical biostatistics and biomathematics research in the psychophysiological laboratory unit.
