Naples, Fl., USA — ACI Worldwide, Inc., an international provider of payment systems, announced the appointment of Daniel Frate as EVP, global markets and product management.[break]
Mr. Frate brings more than twenty five years of payments experience to this new role, having most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Products and Pricing at PNC Bank. Mr. Frate began his career with PNC in 2009 and prior to his current position, served as vice chairman and executive vice president of National City Corporation.
Prior to joining National City, Mr. Frate served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Bank One Card Services. He also served as President of U.S. Bancorp’s payment systems business and as the company’s senior consumer risk officer.
In addition, Mr. Frate held the position of Vice Chairman and served as a member of U.S. Bancorp’s Operating Committee. Mr. Frate has also held various credit, technology and service management positions with Citicorp. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from John Carroll University and a master’s degree in finance from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
David Morem, currently EVP, Global Products and a senior ACI executive since 2006, will transition to the role of EVP, Global Maintenance.
Mr. Morem joined ACI Worldwide in June 2005. Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Morem held executive positions at GE Home Loans, Bank One Card Services and U.S. Bank. Mr. Morem brings more than 30 years of experience in process management, finance, operations, credit policy and change management.
