Adobe CFO John Murphy to retire

San Jose, Ca., USA - Adobe announced that executive vice president and CFO John Murphy intends to retire in 2021.

Mr. Murphy has more than 25 years of finance experience.

Prior to joining Adobe in 2017, Mr. Murphy was CAO and Global Controller at Qualcomm, where he managed a global team leading core financial functions for the company.

Previously, he spent 10 years at DIRECTV, ultimately leaving the company as senior vice president and Chief Accounting Officer and Controller.

Mr. Murphy also held senior financial positions at Experian and Nestlé and began his professional career at PWC.

Mr. Murphy has an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University and is a licensed CPA (inactive).
