Agilent Technologies appoints Rick Burdsall as chief infrastructure officer

Santa Clara, Ca., USA - March 19, 2010, Santa Clara, Ca., USA - Agilent Technologies, a measurement company, announced that Rick Burdsall is the new chief infrastructure officer.



Mr. Burdsall is currently Agilent’s vice president and chief information officer. Prior to his most recent position, Mr. Burdsall was vice president of Information Technology Solution Services at Agilent.

Mr. Burdsall joined Hewlett-Packard Co. in 1991 as a product marketing manager within the Semiconductor Products Group. From 1991 through 2000, he held a variety of marketing leadership positions at both HP and Agilent, and in 2001 was promoted to vice president of the Agilent.com e-business program.

Mr. Burdsall was appointed vice president of IT Solution Services in 2003, responsible for all development, maintenance and support of Agilent’s application environment. Before joining HP/Agilent, he held positions in R&D, manufacturing and marketing at Magnetic Peripherals, Lockheed Missiles and Space, and Avantek.
