Lehigh Valley, Pa., USA - October 22, 2012, Lehigh Valley, Pa., USA - Air Products, a provider of gases and related services, announced that Paul E. Huck, senior vice president and chief financial officer will retire, effective February 28, 2013.

Mr. Huck was appointed vice president and chief financial officer of Air Products in 2004 and assumed his current position as senior vice president and chief financial officer in October 2007. He also is a member of the company’s Corporate Executive Committee.
Mr. Huck joined Air Products in 1979 as a financial analyst in the financial planning department. In 1980 he became manager of project control for the engineering department of the Process Systems Group, and subsequently was named controller for several divisions within the Group. Mr. Huck was appointed controller for the Chemicals Group in 1987; controller for Environmental and Energy Systems in 1992; and corporate controller in 1994.
In 1995 he was elected vice president by the company’s board of directors, and in 2000 he was appointed to the Program Management Office where he was responsible for leading the company’s work process efforts. Mr. Huck was reappointed vice president and corporate controller in 2002 retaining responsibility for SAP implementation company-wide before assuming his current position.
Mr. Huck earned a B.S. degree in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy in 1972 and an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management in 1979. He served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1979.
The board of directors has selected Scott Crocco, currently vice president and controller, to succeed Mr. Huck as senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) in February.
Mr. Crocco joined Air Products in 1990 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program. He subsequently held a variety of financial analysis and financial management positions in the Chemicals Group, Gases Group, Corporate Treasury and Corporate Controllership. He became manager of financial analysis and planning in Corporate Treasury in 2000; controller for the Electronics Division in 2001; and director of Corporate Decision Support in 2003 before being named to his current role in 2006. ■
