Airbus Group unites its businesses in India

Blagnac, France - June 5, 2015, Blagnac, France - Airbus Group has consolidated its divisions in India under Airbus Group India Private Limited. Taking responsibility of the new company as president is Pierre de Bausset.

Mr. de Bausset assumed his current role as President, Airbus Group India on 1 June. Prior to this, since 2008, he was Corporate Secretary of Airbus Group where he was the custodian of the Group’s governance, responsible for managing efficient relations between the top management and the Board of Directors and also looked after audit, security, subsidiaries and CSR.

He was particularly involved in preparing and executing the Group’s governance change in 2012 and 2013 which made it a normal commercial company. Mr. de Bausset has been the Head of Investor Relations and Financial Communications for the Group and prior to that he was with Aérospatiale, first heading a finance subsidiary in the US and later as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, precisely when it merged to become EADS(1).

He has also been part of the Sales Finance team at ATR, helping customers in Europe, the US and Asia find attractive financing for their aircraft.
