Allen Childs to retire as president of Nissan Canada

Franklin, Tenn., USA - November 2, 2012, Franklin, Tenn., USA - Nissan announced that Allen Childs will retire as president of Nissan Canada and will be replaced by Christian Meunier, effective January 1, 2013.

Mr. Childs' career at Nissan has spanned 20 years including positions in regional operations, dealer operations, parts & service and marketing. In 2002, he became vice president, Nissan Canada sales before returning to Nissan North America (NNA) in 2006 as vice president, parts and service. He was named president of Nissan Canada in 2010.

Mr. Meunier currently serves as president of Nissan Brazil. He joined Nissan Europe in 2002 as general manager, sales and fleet and has held a variety of positions including vice president, sales in Nissan Europe and vice president, marketing at Nissan North America where he established a strategy for interactive marketing.
