Andreas Lampersbach leaves the Volkswagen Group

Wolfsburg, Germany - November 11, 2015, Wolfsburg, Germany - The head of corporate and business communications at Volkswagen AG, Andreas Lampersbach, left the Volkswagen Group by amicable agreement, effective November 15, 2015.

Mr. Lampersbach spent 14 years with the company. Mr. Lampersbach headed communications operations at the "Expo 2000" world exhibition before moving in 2001 to join the Munich-based MAN Group, which became a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG in 2011, to hold various senior management functions.

In April 2015 he relocated from his post as Head of Corporate Communications of the MAN Group, Munich, to Volkswagen AG's Group headquarters, becoming Head of Corporate and Business Communications.
