Bacchus Capital Management names Quinton Jay as managing director

San Francisco, Ca., USA - July 19, 2009, San Francisco, Ca., USA - Bacchus Capital Management announced the appointment of Quinton Jay as managing director.

Mr. Jay holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.S. from California State University at Long Beach. Mr. Jay will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential transactions, overseeing the performance of Bacchus portfolio wineries and managing the research, investment and marketing teams. He has 15 years of experience running both boutique and established, well-known wineries. Most recently, Mr. Jay was Vice President and General Manager at Artesa Winery and Vineyards, managing all aspects of the 100,000 case ultra-premium brand. Previously, he was Managing Director of Bacchus Consulting Group, an independent winery consulting firm he founded in 2001, whose major clients included Beringer Blass Wines, Etude, Quintessa and Geyser Peak Wines. Prior to Bacchus Consulting, Jay was General Manager of Bonny Doon Vineyard. Mr. Jay began his career in the beverage industry in brand management and strategic planning at Coca-Cola, following his position as Associate Vice President in the corporate finance and investment banking division of Bank of Ameri
