Battery Ventures promotes three to vice presidents

Boston, Mass., USA - September 12, 2017, Boston, Mass., USA - Battery Ventures, a technology-focused investment firm, announced it has promoted Roland Anderson, Sabrina Chiasson and Satoshi Harris-Koizumi to vice presidents.

Roland Anderson joined Battery as an associate in 2014, focusing on software, Internet and digital-media investments.
Currently a vice president, Mr. Anderson is involved in Battery’s investments in Newforma, ServiceTitan and Vidyard.
Before Battery, Mr. Anderson worked as an associate at Symmetric Capital, a growth equity firm focused on software, technology-enabled services, and healthcare investing.
Mr. Anderson previously worked at hedge fund Talon Asset Management, where he researched investment opportunities in high-yield fixed income and equity securities.
He graduated magna cum laude from Bentley University with a degree in economics and finance.
Sabrina Chiasson joined Battery in 2015.
She focuses on later-stage software investments, including growth equity, buyouts, rollups, carve-outs and take-privates.
Ms. Chiasson is currently involved with Battery’s investments in Alogent, Clubessential, Concurrent Real-Time and Enviance.
Before coming to Battery, Ms. Chiasson was an associate at H.I.G. Growth Partners, a private equity firm focused on recapitalizations of lower-middle market, growth oriented businesses.
There, she sourced, evaluated and executed investments in the consumer, healthcare and technology sectors.
Ms. Chiasson also previously spent time at Westwind Investors, a private investment firm focused on growth-equity investments and buyouts.
Ms. Chiasson received a B.A. in biology and economics from Dartmouth College.
Satoshi Harris-Koizumi joined Battery in 2012 as an analyst and focuses on later-stage investments, including growth equity, buyouts, rollups, PIPES, and take-privates.
Mr. Harris-Koizumi is involved with Battery’s investments in Clubessential, CrunchTime!, Forterro, and Mendix, as well as HighJump prior to its acquisition by Accellos.
Prior to Battery, Mr. Harris-Koizumi spent time with North Bridge Growth Equity–now Guidepost Growth Equity–in Waltham, Massachusetts. ■
