Bauxite Resources: managing director Dan Tenardi resigns

Osborne Park, Australia - May 31, 2010, Osborne Park, Australia - Bauxite Resources, a mining and exploration company, announced that its managing director Dan Tenardi has resigned, effective immediately.




Mr. Tenardi is a highly experienced mining executive with some 40 years experience. His wealth of knowledge and depth of experience in managing bulk ore operations is ideally suited to the Company’s ongoing business plan. Mr Tenardi has spent 15 years with Alcoa, bauxite mining in the Darling Range, and a further two years at Alcoa’s Kwinana refinery.

In recent years Mr. Tenardi has worked at executive level for Rio Tinto’s Robe River Iron Associates and their East Pilbara Division, he was appointed as a Director of Robe River Iron Associates in the latter years of his employment with Rio Tinto. He joined Bauxite Resources Ltd from CITIC Pacific Mining Management where he held positions of General Manager of Operations and most recently Chief Operating Manager.
