BNY Mellon Global Funds appoints two new directors

New York, N.Y., USA - February 22, 2013, New York, N.Y., USA - BNY Mellon Global Funds plc announced the appointment of Jonathan Lubran and David Turnbull as directors, effective January 29 and February 13, 2013.

Mr. Lubran heads up the division that is responsible for sales to institutional clients in the UK and EMEA.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon Asset Management International Ltd in 2003, he was Head of UK Client Service for Schroders. Previously, he was Managing Director of F&C Institutional, Chief Executive Officer of Bankers Trust Investment Management, London, and Managing Director of Royal Bank of Canada Investment Management, London.

Mr. Lubran received a PhD from Cambridge University and has more than 40 years of investment and finance experience.

Mr. Turnbull is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) and holds a BA / BCOM from Otago University.

Mr. Turnbull joined BNY Mellon in 1998 and is currently Director of Fund Operations and Governance for BNY Mellon Asset Management International Ltd (AMI).
