Bord na Móna appoints Gabriel D'Arcy as managing director

Newbridge, Ireland - October 30, 2009, Newbridge, Ireland - Bord na Móna, a global supplier of products and services based on peat, announces the appointment of Gabriel D’Arcy as Managing Director.



Mr. D’Arcy joins the company from Kerry Group plc, where he held the position of Commercial Director, Kerry Ingredients Europe. He originally joined the group in 1989 and has held senior positions in Kerry’s dairy, ingredients and bakery divisions. Prior to joining Kerry Group, Mr. D’Arcy spent twelve years as an army officer in the Defence Forces, retiring as a Captain. During his service, he had two tours of duty with United Nations forces in Leban
