Boris F.J. Collardi new CEO of Bank Julius Baer

Zurich, Switzerland - April 1, 2009, Zurich, Switzerland - Swiss banking group Julius Baer has appointed Boris F.J. Collardi as new chief executive officer at Bank Julius Baer.

Mr. Collardi is Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd with responsibility for all JB offices world wide. Mr. Collardi sits on the Risk Committee, the Credit Committee and People Committee of the Bank. Mr. Collardi was responsible for the integration of the three Private Banks acquired from UBS. Before joining Julius Baer in 2006, he spent 12 years with Credit Suisse and contributed significantly to its successful build-up and the expansion of the private banking business in both Europe and Asia. During his years with Credit Suisse he attained the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Centre within CS Private Bank
