Lake Success, N.Y., USA – Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. announced that chief financial officer Dan Sheldon, after returning from a leave of absence, has stepped down from his position, effective February 5, 2014. [break]
Mr. Sheldon will remain with the Company in an advisory role through April 11, 2014 to assist with the transition. Mr. Sheldon joined ADP in 1984 as Director of Internal Audit. During his tenure with ADP, he held various senior financial management positions in most of the major business units, including as Chief Financial Officer of the Brokerage Services Business of ADP.
Mr. Sheldon was appointed Corporate Vice President and Controller of ADP in June 2003. In addition to his role as Controller, he was responsible for ADP’s shared services operations and finance information systems.
During Mr. Sheldon’s leave, Michael Liberatore assumed the role of Acting Principal Financial Officer, and David Lisa assumed the role of Acting Principal Accounting Officer. Both Mr. Liberatore and Mr. Lisa will continue to serve in these roles during the transition.
Mr. Liberatore has more than nine years of experience with the Company and has served as Chief Operating Officer of Mutual Fund and Retirement Solutions Group for two years. Mr. Liberatore also previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Investor Communication Solutions business for three years.
