Johannesburg, South Africa - August 31, 2015, Johannesburg, South Africa - Buffalo Coal Corp. announced the appointment of Eddie Scholtz and John Wallington to the board from September 1, 2015.

Mr. Scholtz is a recently retired mining engineer, with 39 years experience in the coal industry, the majority of which were spent with BHP Billiton Limited.
Mr. Scholtz held General Manager positions on BHP's largest mines and was ultimately appointed as Managing Director of BHP's coal mining operations in South Africa. After spending 37 years at BHP, he Scholtz joined CIC Energy Corp., from which he retired in 2012.
Mr. Wallington is a mining executive with over 31 years experience in coal mining and exploration. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Coal of Africa Limited and prior to that Anglo American plc's coal division, and has held Board positions with Firestone Energy Limited and Keaton Energy Holdings Limited.
Mr. Wallington holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, and has participated in executive programs with London Business School and Harvard Business School.
John Dreyer and Michael Price have both tendered their resignations from the Board with effect from September 1, 2015.
Mr. Dreyer is a qualified South African lawyer, previously MD of Shell South Africa, CEO of Tavistock Coal and executive director of Anglo American Platinum. He served as chairman of ASX listed Firestone Energy until 2011 and also served on the board of Pangea Diamond Fields.
Mr. Dreyer also served on the board of ASX listed Cobar Consolidated Resources until his retirement on December 19, 2013, where he also served on the audit committee.
Mr. Price has more than 35 years experience in mining and mining finance. He has BSc and PhD qualifications in mining engineering from University College Cardiff, UK, a Mine Managers Certificate of Competency (Coal Mines) South Africa and he is a European Engineer (FEANI) and Chartered Mining Engineer (CEng).
After working for BP Coal, BP Minerals and BP Exploration in various mine management and business development roles Mr. Price moved into mining finance with NM Rothschild & Sons, Societe Generale and Barclays Capital where he structured, arranged and advised on the financing of mining projects worldwide. ■
