New York, USA - March 26, 2014, New York, USA - Calvin Klein, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PVH Corp., announced that the company’s CEO, Tom Murry, will transition to the position of executive chairman of Calvin Klein, Inc. as of July 1, 2014.

Mr. Murry will be serving in an advisory role to the new Chief Executive Officer. He will retire at the end of the fiscal year. Mr. Murry is one of the leading executives in the designer fashion industry. He is Chief Executive Officer of Calvin Klein, Inc. He directs day-to-day operations of one of the worlds largest and most successful designer, fashion companies, a wholly owned subsidiary of PVH, since February 2003.
Mr. Murry arrived at Calvin Klein, Inc., in 1996, initially as President of the cK business in the United States. He quickly broadened his scope, providing counsel and support to licensees and joint-venture partners connected to the cK business worldwide. In 1998, he assumed responsibility for the Calvin Klein Collection for women, including apparel and accessories, in 1999 Tom was promoted to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Calvin Klein, Inc., and in 2008 he was elevated to President and Chief Executive Officer of Calvin Klein, Inc.
Prior to joining Calvin Klein, Inc., Mr. Murry spent six years as Corporate President, Tahari, Ltd., a women's apparel manufacturer in the United States – and currently serves on the board of CK Watch and Jewelry Co., Ltd., as well as on the Operating Committee of PVH. Additionally, he serves on the Business Advisory Committee of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), is a Supporter Member of the NYC-based The High Line Trust, and serves on the CEO Council of the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing at The University of Arizona.
In 2009, Mr. Murry was honored by Parsons The New School for Design at the school's 61st annual fashion benefit and by the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF), a nonprofit scholarship fund dedicated to investing in the future of fashion via scholarship money and internships for promising students. In May 2010, he was honored with the 2010 National Human Relations Award by the American Jewish Committee (AJC).
Mr. Murry earned a B.S. from Oklahoma State University with a concentration in Marketing. He and his wife Lynda reside in New York and Florida.
Effective July 1, 2014, Steve Shiffman, presently the President & Chief Commercial Officer of Calvin Klein, Inc., will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Shiffman, who first joined PVH in 1992, has more than three decades of retail experience and is a member of the PVH Corporate Operating Committee. He has overseen the global commercial operations of the CKI business, reporting to and working closely with Mr. Murry, with direct oversight of North America retail and e-commerce businesses, Asia-Pacific and Latin American operations, as well as Global Licensing and Creative Services.
Previously, Mr. Shiffman served as Group President and Chief Operating Officer of PVH Retail, where he oversaw the Company’s retail divisions. ■
