Cardiva Medical announces the departure of its president

Mountain View, Ca., USA - October 14, 2009, Mountain View, Ca., USA - Cardiva Medical announces that its president, Glenn Foy, will depart the organization to assume the position of chief executive officer at Innovative Energy.

Mr. Foy joined the Company in July, 2003 as an executive consultant. Prior to Cardiva, Mr. Foy was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sanarus, Inc., a company focused on the minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Prior to Sanarus, Mr. Foy was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Circulation Inc., an early stage cardiovascular company acquired by Transvascular (Medtronic). Additionally, Mr. Foy has held executive positions as Gynecare (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), Valleylab (acquired by Pfizer), Spectramed (acquired by Ohmeda), and FOxS Labs (acquired by Puritan Bennet
