Copenhagen, Denmark - February 18, 2015, Copenhagen, Denmark - Carlsberg A/S announces that President and CEO, Jorgen Buhl Rasmussen, is to retire from the Carlsberg Group.

Mr. Rasmussen has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Carlsberg A/S since 2007 and its Member of the Executive Board since April 1, 2006. Mr. Rasmussen has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Carlsberg Breweries A/S since 2007 and has been its Member of Executive Board since 2006.
He served as an Executive Vice President at Carlsberg Breweries A/S. He has over 23 years of rich and varied experience in the field of Marketing and General Management. Mr. Rasmussen served as Executive Vice President of Carlsberg A/S from April 1, 2006 to October 2007, was responsible for Carlsberg's businesses in Eastern Europe, including BBH and Poland, as well as the Balkans, Turkey and Israel.
From 2001 to 2006, he served as Regional President in the Gillette Group, based in the UK, with responsibility for Russia, Central Europe (East), the Balkans, Turkey, Middle East and Africa. From 1997 to 1999, he served as President of Gillette Group Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordic and Benelux), UK. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Rasmussen served as Area Director of Duracell, Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordic and France), UK.
From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Rasmussen served as General Manager of Duracell, UK and Ireland and served as General Manager of Duracell, Denmark and Finland from 1988 to 1993. From 1987 to 1988, he served as Nordic Marketing Director of Duracell, Denmark and from 1985 to 1987 as Marketing Manager of Pet Food in Master Foods, Denmark.
He also served as Product Group Manager of A/S Lagerman, Slagelse, Denmark from 1982 to 1985 and from 1979 to 1982, as Research Manager and Consultant of IFH Research International (Unilever), Denmark.
He serves as the Chairman at Baltika Breweries Open Joint Stock Company and has been its Director since 2006. He serves as Chairman of Baltic Beverages Holding AB. Mr. Rasmussen served as the Chairman of the Board of Turk Tuborg Brewing & Malting Inc. from September 15, 2006 to October 23, 2008. He serves as Vice Chairman of Baltic Beverages Holding AB. He has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at Carlsberg Breweries A/S since March 30, 2012.
He has been a Director of Baltika Brewery OAO since April 2008 and Novozymes A/S since March 1, 2011. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Danske Bank A/S. He serves as a Director of Carlsberg Breweries A/S. He served as a Director of Turk Tuborg Brewing & Malting Inc. until October 23, 2008.
He served as a Non Executive Director of Gillette India Limited from July 2003 to December 9, 2004. Mr. Rasmussen has Bachelor of Economics & Business Administration, and MBA study, Copenhagen School of Economics & Business Administration, Copenhagen, Denmark.
