Change in chairmanship at Dairy Farm

Hong Kong, China - March 8, 2013, Hong Kong, China - Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited, a retail stores operator, announces that Simon Keswick is to step down as chairman of the company, effective May 15, 2013.




Mr. Simon Keswick joined the Board and became Chairman in 1986. He joined the Jardine Matheson group in 1962 and is also chairman of Hongkong Land and Mandarin Oriental, and a director of Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Jardine Matheson and Jardine Strategic.

Mr. Simon Keswick will continue as a non-executive Director. He will be replaced as Chairman by Ben Keswick.

Mr. Ben Keswick joined the Board as Managing Director in April 2012. He has held a number of executive positions since joining the Jardine Matheson group in 1998, including finance director and then chief executive officer of Jardine Pacific between 2003 and 2007 and, thereafter, group managing director of Jardine Cycle & Carriage until March 2012.
