Cisco CFO to step down

San Jose, Ca., USA - November 14, 2014, San Jose, Ca., USA - Frank Calderoni recently notified Cisco of his decision to step down as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Cisco, effective January 1, 2015.

Mr. Calderoni joined Cisco in 2004 from QLogic Corporation, where he was the Senior Vice President and CFO. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and CFO for SanDisk Corporation.

Previously he spent 21 years at IBM Corporation and was promoted to Vice President prior to taking on two CFO roles. While at IBM he held Controller responsibilities for several divisions, including Global Small Business, Storage Systems, and the IBM Server Group.

He has been awarded the 2012 Excellence Award in Leadership in Finance for North America, and he was considered one of the Best CFO’s in 2012 from the Institutional Investor.

Mr. Calderoni holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Fordham University and a master of business administration degree in finance from Pace University. He sits on the Board of Directors for Adobe Systems and Nimble Storage.
