Beijing, China - July 2, 2013, Beijing, China - China Ocean Shipping, a shipping and logistics services supplier company, announced that Ma Zehua is appointed as the chairman of the board of COSCO Group.

Mr. Zehua had been Deputy Manager of Shipping Department of China Ocean Shipping Company, President of COSCO (UK) Ltd., General Manager of the Development Division and Manager of Overseas Affairs Department of the Development Division of COSCO Group, Assistant President and General Manager of the Development Division of COSCO Group.
He serves as President of COSCO Americas Inc., Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member of COSCO Guangzhou, General Manager and Secretary of the Party Committee of COSCO Qingdao, Executive Vice President and Party Committee Member of COSCO Group, Executive Vice President and Secretary of Party Committee of China Shipping (Group) Company, Director of the Board, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of COSCO Group.
Being a senior international shipping expert, Mr. Ma has more than 30 years rich experiences in managing shipping companies both at home and abroad and he is currently deputy to the 12th National People's Congress and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of 12th National People's Congress.
Mr. Zehua graduated from Shanghai Maritime University, majored in international law. He has a master's degree and the qualification of Senior Economist.
Mr. Li Yunpeng is appointed as the Director of the Board and the President of COSCO Group.
Mr. Yunpeng had been a fourth engineer, third engineer, and second engineer on COSCO's vessels, and used to serve in COSCO Tianjin as the Deputy Manager and General Manager of Human Resources Department, General Manager of Administration Department and Party Secretary Office.
After he joined China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, Mr. Yunpeng has taken various posts including Deputy General Manager of Executive Division, Deputy Secretary of Party Disciplinary Inspection Office, General Manager of Supervisory Division, Director of Organization Division, General Manager of Human Resources Division, Assistant to President, Party Committee Member, Director of Party Disciplinary Inspection Office and Executive Vice President of COSCO Group.
With more than 30 years' expertise in shipping industry, Mr. Yunpeng has rich experiences in corporate management, internal control and human resources development. He received his master's degree in ship and naval architectural design from Tianjin University. He is a senior engineer.
Capt. Wei Jiafu is retired and no longer holds any position in COSCO Group.
Capt. Jiafu had held various senior positions, including Managing Director of Sino-Tanzania Joint Shipping Co., President of COSCO Holdings (Singapore) Pte Ltd., Managing Director of Tianjin Ocean Shipping Co., Managing Director of COSCO Bulk Carrier Co., Ltd. and President & CEO of COSCO. Capt. ■
