Fremont, Ca., USA - November 12, 2009, Fremont, Ca., USA - Following the recent acquisition of Asyst Technologies atmospheric products and intellectual property, Crossing Automation Inc., a technology company, announced the following appointments: James McCormick, CFO; Randy Clegg, vice president of sales; Frank Kohoutek, vice president of operations; May Su, vice president of core products and Tim Lenihan, vice president of new products.

James McCormick comes to Crossing from Podtech Network, Inc. where he was CEO, before which he was the COO/CFO at Serious Materials/Quiet Solutions. He has over 20 years of experience in senior management positions across a variety of technology-related companies. Mr. McCormick has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Toledo and a MBA from the University of Michigan.
Randy Clegg is coming from Asyst Technologies where he held the position of vice president, customer solutions group, Mr. Clegg has demonstrated knowledge of both the technology of automation and a firm commitment to customer support. Prior to Asyst, he was the executive vice president of field operations at Metara Inc. and president, North America operations at Novellus Systems. Mr. Clegg holds a BS from Oklahoma State University.
Frank Kohoutek comes from Mattson Technology where he served as vice president of global operations, providing him the industry background and appreciation for the requirements of OEMs within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. During 12 years with Mattson, Mr. Kohoutek held a number of positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to Mattson, he worked for Bell Industries, Solid State Devices, Tritek Engineering & Manufacturing, and Bytex Corporation. Mr. Kohoutek holds a BS in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University.
Tim Lenihan comes to Crossing from Asyst Technologies where he served as senior director of account management and senior director of marketing. Prior to Asyst, Mr. Lenihan worked for Intrabay by Haas, Brooks - PRI Automation, and Verteq, Inc. Mr. Lenihan holds a BS in Finance from the University of Santa Clara. ■
