Calgary, AB, Canada - December 16, 2014, Calgary, AB, Canada - CWC Energy Services Corp. announced that Dean Schultz has been appointed as a director to the board of CWC.

Mr. Schultz is a chartered accountant with more than 14 years of accounting, investment management and energy industry experience. He is currently the vice-president, energy, with Brookfield Asset Management Inc. focusing on energy-related investments.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Schultz was the vice-president, finance, and chief financial officer of several oil and gas production companies in Western Canada. Prior thereto, he was with Collins Barrow Chartered Accountants where he provided audit and advisory services.
Mr. Schultz currently holds and has previously held, directorships on numerous public and private company boards.
Effective January 5, 2015, Craig S. Flint will be joining CWC as its chief financial officer.
Mr. Flint is a chartered accountant with more than 23 years of accounting, finance and energy-related experience. He has spent the last 16 years with Superior Plus Corp. and its subsidiaries in various capacities including vice-president, finance, of Superior Propane; vice-president, business development and compliance at Superior Plus Corp., corporate controller at Winroc; and team leader, tax and treasury, at Superior Plus Income Fund.
Mr. Flint has corporate development, corporate tax, cost management, financial and treasury management experience, and has been involved in analyzing, completing due diligence, structuring, executing and integrating acquisitions at Superior. Prior thereto, he spent seven years in assurance and tax with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Effective December 31, 2014, Rick Dawson will be retiring as vice-president, business development, after a successful 44-year career in the service rig industry.
Since joining CWC in 2008, Mr. Dawson has significantly expanded CWC's geographical reach and upgraded the customer list to predominantly working for senior and intermediate oil producers in the WCSB. From 1987 to 2008, he was the Vice President, Sales and Marketing for CenAlta Well Servicing which later became Precision Well Servicing.
CWC has accepted the resignation of Alexander David Greene as a director of the company.
Mr. Greene is a Managing Partner at Tricap Partners Ltd. He has over 30 years of corporate finance and private equity experience. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Partner at Brookfield Asset Management Inc. since December 2005 and also served as its Head of U.S. Private Equity. He joined the firm in December 2005.
Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Greene served as an investment banker to large- and mid-cap businesses, boards of directors and other constituencies, focusing on leveraged finance, merger and acquisition and recapitalization transactions. He served as a Managing Director of The Carlyle Group LP from September, 2003 to November 2005.
Mr. Greene was a Co-Head and Managing Director at Carlyle Strategic Partners L.P. Prior to joining Carlyle, he served as Managing Director, Partner, and Senior Restructuring Partner at Gleacher & Co. where he co-headed its restructuring advisory practice.
Mr. Greene was previously a Managing Director and Partner at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Inc. and Managing Director at Wasserstein & Co., LP and Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc. He served as a Managing Director, Partner, and Senior Restructuring Partner at Whitman Heffernan Rhein & Co. He was also a Senior Restructuring Partner at M.J. Whitman LLC.
Mr. Greene began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, where he managed a portfolio of loans to financially troubled borrowers. He has over 30 years of corporate finance and private equity experience. Mr. Greene has been an Independent Director of Civeo Corporation, Director of USA Truck, and Director of Overseas Shipholding Group. ■
