Dan Foley chief operating officer at Lincoln Renewable Energy

Chicago, Ill., USA - June 5, 2012, Chicago, Ill., USA - Lincoln Renewable Energy, a developer of solar and wind projects, announced the appointment of Dan Foley to the newly created position of chief operating officer.

Most recently, Mr. Foley was CEO of Acciona Energy North America. Prior to that, he held roles in project development, power marketing and operations at Invenergy and Commonwealth Edison. Preceding his role as CEO of ACCIONA, Mr. Foley led the company’s wind and solar development efforts throughout Canada and the U.S. He joined ACCIONA in 2007 a vice president, power marketing.

Prior to joining ACCIONA, Mr. Foley held the director, power marketing position with Invenergy LLC, a developer, owner and operator of large-scale electricity generation assets. He also served as a senior manager for Deloitte and Touche, where he provided risk management consulting services to energy market participants.

In 2011, Mr. Foley was appointed to the Energy Advisory Board of U.S. Senator Mark Kirk. He is also a board member of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), through which he provides expert input on the development of effective public policy for renewable energy.
