He also serves as CFO and is based at EMC headquarters in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

Mr. Goulden's 32-year career in the IT industry includes experience as a general manager with P&L responsibility for global businesses and as a leader of EMC global sales, marketing and business development.

Since August 2006, he has overseen EMC's worldwide finance operation with responsibility for all of the company's financial reporting, balance sheet management, foreign exchange, audit, tax, and investment banking programs. In 2011, analysts surveyed by Institutional Investor named Mr. Goulden the best CFO in IT Hardware.

Mr. Goulden joined EMC in July 2002 from Getronics, a global IT services provider.
