London, United Kingdom - October 30, 2012, London, United Kingdom - DCD Media plc, a television production and distribution group, announces that Sammy Nourmand is stepping down from his role as CEO and will leave the company at the end of the year.

Mr. Nourmand has 18 years experience in the independent television sector, first as a Production Accountant and then Financial Controller before joining September Films as Head of Finance in 1998. He went on to become Director of Finance and Deputy CEO in November 2003 taking over as CEO in April 2005. Mr. Nourmand oversaw September Films operations in the UK and the US as well as its distribution arm, September International. He was instrumental in the sale of September Films to DCD Media in August 2007.
Consequently, David Green has relinquished his corporate role to concentrate on capitalising on the success of September Films and building a strong creative team committed to developing new landmark productions in the USA on a full-time basis.
David Green will remain an ex-officio executive director of the DCD Media Plc main board but steps down as Chairman of DCD today.
Mr. Green was appointed Executive Chairman in 2012, after 3 years as CEO. He joined the Group in 2007 when London and LA-based TV and film production company September Films, of which he was Chairman and Founder, was acquired by DCD and he took on the role of Group Chief Creative Officer. He now merges his Chairman role with special responsibility for spearheading DCD Media's surge into the American TV production market.
Oxford-educated and a veteran of the UK and US film and television industries, Mr. Green has directed over 1000 hours of feature films ('Buster', 'Wings of the Apache') and primetime television programming including the landmark series 'Hollywood Women' and 'Bridezillas' - both of which he created.
Richard McGuire, Chairman of Timeweave Plc, also a DCD Non-Executive Director, has today been appointed as DCD's Non-Executive Chairman.
Mr. McGuire is Non-Executive Director of Timeweave Plc – DCD Media’s largest shareholder - and is a Non-Executive Director acting as the nominated shareholder representative of Mayfair Capital Investments Limited. Mr. McGuire is also President of Tavistock Europe and was previously a Non-Executive Director of Mitchells & Butlers plc and Chairman of Bulgarian Property Developments plc. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director within investment banking at Citigroup and held capital market roles at HSBC and private asset management firms.
In addition, the Company announces that Timeweave Plc's CEO, David Craven, currently a DCD Non-Executive Director has been appointed as DCD's new CEO.
Mr. Craven, whose appointment takes effect today, brings significant sector-specific and broad commercial experience to DCD, having held senior roles with News Corporation, UPC Media and Trinity Newspapers. Mr. Craven is Chief Executive Officer and Director of Timeweave Plc - DCD Media’s largest shareholder - which he joined in April 2011. Mr. Craven has extensive Betting, Gaming and Media experience having held a number of senior roles in these industries. He was joint MD of the Tote for six years and was closely involved in its privatisation. ■
