De May to lead Duke Energy investor relations; Daji chief risk officer

De May joined Duke Energy in 1990 as a director at Crescent Resources. He has held several positions in the company's finance and treasury units. He also has overseen energy and environmental policy. He holds a BA in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master of business administration degree from the McColl Graduate School of Business at Queens University, Charlotte.
At the same time, Swati Daji, formerly vice president of deal structuring and contract management for the company's Franchised Electric and Gas business segment, will lead Risk Management and assume the role of chief risk officer. De May had been serving as chief risk officer. ■
