New York, N.Y., USA - May 2, 2013, New York, N.Y., USA - dELiA*s, Inc., a multi-channel retail company, announced the appointment of Tracy Gardner as chief creative officer and a member of the board of directors.

Ms. Gardner brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in developing and growing omni-channel brands. She was with J.Crew from 2004 to 2010, most recently as President of Retail & Direct.
For the past year, Ms. Gardner served as Creative Advisor to Gap Inc. Earlier in her career she held senior merchandising roles at the Gap brand, Banana Republic and Lands’ End.
dELiA*s also announced that Walter Killough has agreed to serve as Chief Executive Officer at least through August 2, 2013.
Mr. Killough has served as dELiA*s Chief Executive Officer since May 14, 2010 and as a director since December 2005.
Mr. Killough was the company's Chief Operating Officer from December 2005 until May 14, 2010.
He joined Alloy, Inc. in March 2003 as a consultant, and served as the Chief Operating Officer of its Retail and Direct Consumer Division from October 2003 until December 2005.
Prior to joining Alloy, Mr. Killough was at J.Crew Group, Inc. for 14 years. He was appointed its Chief Operating Officer in 2001, and prior to that served as an executive vice president.
As its Chief Operating Officer he also has had significant experience in senior operational and leadership positions at J.Crew Group, Inc.
Mr. Killough graduated from Villanova University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
In addition, the Company announced that it has named Michael Zimmerman Chairman of the Board of Directors, replacing Carter S. Evans, who will remain on the Board.
Mr. Zimmerman founded Prentice Capital Management, LP, a New York-based private investment firm, in May 2005 and has been its chief executive officer since its inception.
Previously, he managed investments in the retail and consumer sector for S.A.C. Capital.
Mr. Zimmerman also serves as a director of Kid Brands, Inc., a wholesaler of infant and juvenile branded products, and previously served on the board of directors of The Wet Seal, Inc., a national specialty retailer of contemporary apparel and accessory items. ■
