Levis, QC, Canada – DEQ Systems Corp., a provider of gaming technology, announces the resignation of Earle G. Hall as president and chief executive officer of DEQ. [break]
Mr. Hall has 15 years of international executive management experience in Strategic Analysis, Growth Management, Corporate Restructuring and Organizational Development as well as 10 years service as a Canadian Army Logistics Officer.
Prior to joining DEQ in 2004, he held various international positions such as President of InSpeck Inc, Vice President of eLearning, General Manager of MultiHexa as well as several independent consultant positions for technology companies such as Microsoft Business Solutions and BCE Emergis in eCommerce.
Since 1999, he has taught Management of Information and New Technology at the National Academy for Public Administration (ENAP) at the Master’s Degree Level. Mr. Hall has won numerous awards and distinctions such as RMC Logistics Honour Graduate, USA Army and Naval Logistics Honour Graduate Distinctions as well as Quebec City’s Young High Tech Personality of the Year.
Mr. Hall has a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a B.A. from the Royal Military College, Canada as well as formal training in the Microsoft Education Program in Business Solutions (CRM) and Technology (MCSE).
Francois Proulx, DEQ’s Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed by the Board of Directors to assume the CEO position on an interim basis.
Mr. Proulx has 10 years of experience in the fields of public and private venture capital financing, business valuation, and external audit. Prior to TSX Venture, Mr. Proulx was a financial analyst for the media and entertainment sectors of CDP Capital Communications. Prior to that, he worked as a business valuator and external auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen.
